So, I have been a MOM for 19 years today! Most days it doesn't feel like 19 years but it really is. And I am not sad 2 day but my stomach does feel a little sick. I am sure it will pass when this day is over. :) Happy 19th birthday Anthony! Mommy's big helper, now God's little helper. We love you big boy! August 27, 1992- March 18, 1995. Always in my Heart.

We are home from Paris, Sad! I posted a ton of pictures on my Facebook.

Our apartment we stayed in was lovely. In the picture you can see two of the lights on. That was the living room light and the kitchen. To the left of it was the bedrooms. 122 stairs up, yes, there was a lift but

I grew to love stairs and miss them dearly! Everything was beautiful, so BEAUTIFUL! Frank and I stayed in Paris last year for one week then we went to Italy. This time we took the kids and stayed for an entire month. The plan was to live as they do and we did. We walked and took the train everywhere we went except the airport. If you look on my facebook you can see all the fun things we did. Blessed, I feel so blessed. If it is true home is where the heart is, then my home is Paris. Don't get me wrong, I love our new small town. Big City girl (ME) O.C. to Vegas to Small town, I myself am shocked how much I like it here!

I love that Frank and I (and the dog) have the entire upstairs to OURSELVES! And the children and their pets have the entire basement to themselves! LOVE that the most about this house. My Mom lives on the same street plus I have 3 sisters and their families close by. I have found fun things here. OH Yes, I love their Library too! I can ride my bike to the store and put a few items in my basket and ride home. Love that too! Yep, Until I can get back to Paris, I think this is our home! I really miss that place, a lot! Love to all, April

Half Marathon

I ran my half marathon today. :) And it was awesome, and I mean that in a different way. So, when I got to the big hill, I started to panic! Lame but true and I had a great idea. I would flip around and run backwards because my booty seems to give me a little more power. I move couches etc. with my booty/hips vs using my arms. So, I would run forwards, speed walk and flip around backwards and wa~La, I was up that big hill. And I used the out house and sipped a little water. Oh Baby! Bad idea about using my back side to power me up hill! I shortly realized I hurt my knee, my left knee. All the runs I have done (NO races ever) first one, I have never had a knee issue! So, I was like crap let me walk, okay let me try and run and soon I realized if I keep trying to run, I wont be able to walk the rest of the way! Boo-Hoo, NOT! I am grateful to my Heavenly Father because I have a dear sweet friend who has cancer and during the 7 miles I walked, side galloped ( loved that trick but may lose my rt toe nail because the load it had to haul:) I cried not because I was mad at myself because trust me, I wanted to be really mad with myself but I couldn't. Man, I still want to be mad at myself but I am not. I am grateful, a very grateful little lady.:)! And I am thankful I wasn't physically able to run the last idk- 7 or so miles! FYI, I did finish! I wanted to finish in like 2:20 ish but It ended up being 3:11 and I galloped across the finish line- woo-hoo! Also, it was super WINDY and cold! Also, Andrew and Aubrey did a 5K today. Awesome kids of course they rocked it! I did not get to see them tho, but I am proud of them. Back to my friend, if you saw her, you would say, Oh she is a cute girl. And she looks and acts normal and you wouldn't know how much she does! Let me tell you, when I was in the primary presidency, I was like what? At that point she really couldn't walk on her own, in fact she used a walker then. (She doesn't now:) But she would come on Sundays and not only teach her cute class (big class- a few wild ones too) but she would bring like a printer and takes pics of her kids to make things etc. At our meetings I would think she needs out and I was told nope she LOVES her class. I would be amazed every time I would see her. So, I saw her a few weeks ago and she was looking super hot! I didn't even take a picture and that I am mad at myself for!!!! She is doing Chemotherapy now, every Thursday in fact. God bless her! She is my Hero and I love her dearly. Maybe, when my knee is better and she is better we will gallop together. Until then my thoughts are with her and every Thursday I think about her having her treatments. 6 months she has, I think? I have moved and we just got our last load here late last night. My kids are never home because Grandma lives down the street. And Grandpa too! Of course they are more fun than me and they don't make them clean or work because they are ALL about the fun! TRUST ME! Monday- Saturday we will be back in Vegas for Aubrey and Andrew's Shakespeare play. Tickets are $10 if you want to go, it's funny and worth seeing. Call me or text me if you want to go. May 6th @ 7:00 PM, May 7th 12 noon and 7:00 PM. Also, a matinee performance May 6th at 12 noon for $5. W/Love, April

Moving

Moving...

It seems and is true that so many people I know are moving!

Kinda crazy but several people I know are moving. (More than 10)

Here is to happy packing:) Call me if you need any help because it is always easier for me to help others! Yes, we are moving too! It will be fine once it's all said and done. I hope anyways.:)! It's kinda like running for me. When I go running, I can't think about the fact that I am running. Simply because I hate running but love how I feel after. 16 years is a long time to be in one state. So, from the O.C to Vegas and now to a small town. O-My! In the mean time I will keep moving forward and keep my faith alive.:)! It might seem crazy but Frank and I both feel we are making the right choice and although this was nowhere in our plans, we are trying to get everything done. I have cried and been depressed many times in my life and when I head down that road I am aware and stop it now. Well, I have plans and back up plans. Anyways, I almost went down that road this week and I am thankful my Heavenly Father snapped me right out of it! Yeah:)! It is so easy to slip and I am so blessed to have so many amazing examples in my life. When I came here from California where I was born and raised, I wanted a change. Mainly, I didn't want people to feel sorry for me. Because my son Anthony had passed away and the kindness and sweet people just felt bad for me! I was young too. Anyways, I moved here when Aubrey was just 5 1/2 months old. God gave me her because she gave me a reason to live.:)! And that is why he took my son when he did. I am forever thankful he gave me her and the timing too. Yes, heart broken and much sadness at the time. Time passes fast and sometimes I am better off just not thinking about stuff. Like moving.

Holy cow, It is March already!

I am no longer the Bear leader. I am the RS Secretary, and I love the Ladies I work with. It has helped me. I do many things, one is sending out weekly newsletters. An eye opener for me and my computer skills. :)

Training to run 13.1 miles April 30th. Yes, I do hate to run but it is good for me!

We have our flights for Paris.:) We leave May 10th. We do not have return flights yet. We should just stay there! But you know, we LOVE our pets! And that being said, we will return within 4-5 weeks.I am super excited but I have so much going on, it's hard to be excited, no joke! I am a busy girl but aren't we all, yes!

Sweet "16", yes, Aubrey is almost 16. Super exciting time in her life. She is a very beautiful girl and I am blessed to be her Mother. I like when she is happy! Less anxiety for me when she is happy. :)!

Shakespeare play tryouts soon. Aubrey and Andrew are in a Shakespeare play May 6 and 7th. I can't wait because I hear how amazing it is going to be.

Mentor Retreat- Next week I am going to my first Mentor retreat. I mentor a class called Love Of Learning on Thursdays. I work with the young kids. Other Mentors work with my kids. I love it so much and feel blessed to be a part of it. We have quality friends there. :)!

Bountiful Basket, My friend Jen N. and I are getting a basket in the morning. I have never seen them but have heard about them. I am pretty sure my older Sister did or still does these? Not sure but I love fresh fruits and Veggies!

The Missionaries have been teaching the kids and I weekly lessons. We like it! :)

Working on lots of paper work, and a number of "Stuff" to say the least! :( Good and bad but you know "Stuff".

Carl and Lisa are coming over Sunday and Frank's Uncle the next Sunday. Always good to see Family.

Monday, Andrew and Alaina have a science fair. I am excited for it and think it is fun too. We love all of our different homeschool groups.

My sister Autumn moved. :( Can't blame her. She is now 2 hrs away instead of 5 mins. away. :(

I loved the message in this video. I posted 4 videos all on different post. This one I watched last and I had that thought........(I'LL get back to that thought in a second)
For some odd unknown reason most Sunday mornings I read something or watch something or just think about something. It never FAILS on these kind of Sunday mornings I go to church and whatever I watched, read or thought about seems to be what the lesson is about. I have no doubt in my mind it's a gift I am being given.
Anyways, back to that thought.... My thought was this, Christmas is a time when most of the world thinks of Our Savior Jesus Christ. I loved Christmas day and want it everyday because of the peaceful family day it was. Often I ponder how I can teach my children to do better because I know better and want the best for them always! I love them so much and I think my love for them is just like our Father in Heavens love for us. He wants us to be happy, he will always forgive us, if we ask- repent, he is our Father no matter where we live, no matter our race etc, and we are all sisters and brothers in his eyes. This is why I love this video so much! The example of Christ like service and lives. We all are on our own roads/paths to returning home.(Heaven) And we don't know when we wont have a tomorrow. (Death) We will all run out of tomorrows, think about it. My thought is that keeping Christ in our daily lives can help us have Christmas everyday. Not all the shopping/spending Christmas, but the peace, love, family, serving and happiness. Christ can lead us back to Our Father in Heaven and by following his example we are led to happiness. Think, ponder and pray is on my mind. :) And that I will be doing.

Running

My mind said, No! And my body said, yes!

Our minds simple have lots of power and I just had to do mind over matter yesterday:)

Why? Well, My sisters, Mom and I are doing couch to 5K. So, all 6 of us plan on starting it after Thanksgiving. I simply hate to run but I know it is really good for me overall. So, I ran 6 miles yesterday:)

I use to do that that 3 times a week but that was like a year ago.

Now, I do think running is bad on my joints. I don't know but I will do whatever my sisters are doing:) Maybe?

Any advice on that? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

New Orleans:)

Hi there:)

We went to New Orleans last week. We came home late Saturday evening. It was truly a blast:) Although Frank, Aubrey and I had to do minor work/school stuff on the computer here and there, it was fine:) We are LUCKY like that! Just bring it with us.
Highlights of our trip are:
Emeril's for dinner Bam! Kick it up a Knotch:)
Carriage ride in the French Quarters. We all loved it! We had a great time and learned some cool History facts.
The New Orleans Zoo- We all love animals(Frank does think it is mean to cage them up) it was really fun!
Cafe Du Monde- Hands down Andrew's favorite place:)
We also got to watch them make them.
We made some from scratch last night<---Andrew did.
We went to La Boulangerie. And it was French owned- the owners were from Paris. It was yummy just like the ones I had in Paris, so yummy!
French Market- Always good food there.
Alligator I think I liked it the best. It was yummy to me:) The kids all tried it.
Andrew Jackson square, the Cathedral, the people, Art etc.We walked around the French quarter, So much history.

Frank and Aubrey went on a Vampire tour- So not my thing and SO theirs:) Happy the 2 like the VooDoo. Aubrey LOVED it! 2 peas in a pod on that one:)
The convent- Hands down my favorite. I love Nuns because it's just cool to me. I respect them for what they do and I LOVE mother Teresa. LOVE her! We went inside and it was really cool stuff and of course the history is remarkable as well. They also have the most beautiful garden ever. I do respect people and whatever they believe. We all have the same Father in Heaven period. And we are all equal period.
The girls got fun masks and we all really had fun. We have to go back because there is just way to much history we didn't get to see. I am pushing for December but the odds may not be in my favor. We are going to Reno and Lake Tahoe in December.

Boring posting without pictures but better than nothing, I suppose. All my pics are you know, on Facebook. That click of a button from my phone is fast and easy:) Anyways, here is my updates.

School is going and I still love it. My favorite things about this year is 8:00 French class. Mostly because Frank teaches it:) We are all learning it together. And it's fun:) Hard but fun!
My kids are happy, I love happy kids.
Aubrey and Andrew will be in a Shakespeare play the first week in May. I love it that they have awesome mentors for English, History, and Math. (Blessed) Aubrey was watching Much to do about nothing and I loved hearing her laughing.
Alaina is loving learning. She is a bit like me. She will find a way to get what she wants. Like she wants a hamster right now. She wanted a Pot belly pig and I like them too but ya, No! Not now anyways:) If you need someone to feed your pet or walk it or ? She would do it for free and be happy:)
Shows- We just went to Tournament of the Kings. We loved it and seen it a few times now.
Cher- Frank and I went to her show last night. It was really enjoyable and Frank said he really liked it too. I am bummed that she looks better than me:( No, Really she looks GOOD! I kept on studying her face, like how can you look so beautiful. We had 5th row seats and I had my glasses on in order to see her better. So, I rank her really high for looking so good for her age. It's a really beautiful smooth look. Like it all flows, u know what I mean.
Work is work:) I still enjoy selling houses/condos:)
Perks to homeschooling are endless:)
Paris.... Yes, I am really getting so excited! We are all going to Paris for a month. After the kids play. However, Frank knows I plan to stay! He said that is fine. Actually, we LOVE our dog! And we can't live outside the country because we LOVE our dog and she is old and couldn't do that process. My Mom prays that my dog will NEVER die! And I told my Mom that is fine too because we love our dog dearly:)
New Orleans- We are taking the kids to New Orleans in a few weeks. I am so excited because I love New Orleans! Frank asked me to marry him in New Orleans. Lots of history there.
Not so funny but the second year now that I made sure everyone in my house got their flu shot:) But me and bam, flu, who? Me:( UGH! Boo! HOO!
I spoke in Church a few weeks ago. I loved all the studying I did. I should pretend I have to speak every Sunday, you know how much I'd learn. But then again maybe I'll die younger if I learn faster and well, I don't want that:) No worries, I just am here to amuse myself:)

It is really amazing to me how life is and how we have the power to make life whatever we want it to be. Meaning we can be miserable or happy. I'm thankful I try to be positive and find the good in things. I really know life is what we make of it and it's never to late for change and when you know better, do better;) Make the best of what you got or make what you got better.

Paris, Italy and Switzerland

Frank and I had a great trip! We were gone for

14 days and I have been home less than a week now.

I have a ton of pictures. I will put a link on here soon.

We went to Paris then Italy and we also took the Bernina train to see the Swiss Alps. I can't say enough except I miss it all!!!!!!

Anyways, My facebook has some of our pictures posted.

Alaina had her Violin Recital tonight. I love that she loves playing it.

Years ago she saw her friend Blake playing her Violin and ever since then she has wanted to play. We have a great teacher and the girl is happy:) Andrew had a broken clavical bone but he is pretty much all better and I think he can resume his Guitar lessons:)

After a year of homeschooling, I think I am getting the hang of it and LOVE it! I am about to plan lessons right now. OOO, who knew?

Actually, I have realized recently that if I put myself on a routine, I do pretty good. What else???? Not sure, tired and need to wrap up my evening. Oh, we have an In-N-Out Field trip this week. I am looking forward to that:)

Miss Alaina is one BUSY girl!!!

Here today gone tomorrow. She goes from one place to the next.

She is much LOVED. She was gone all day Friday then home for 30 minutes then

gone until really late. Then the next day leaves in the afternoon, gone until Sunday at 11:30 A.M. And the best part is that she is off doing FUN things! Thanks to all her friends:) We LOVE you!

She will be 18 in less than 3 years. I am really focusing on her future with her.

Today(Sunday) Alaina just got all into Origami.

Braxton, a boy in her Church class showed them some stuff he knew.

Well, it just sparked her brain and she spent 5 hours online watching and following the video. All my school related stuff is now on my new blog. You can click on it at the top of this blog. Teachingitmyway.

Since my sister moved I haven't had any treatments.

Well, I braved up and went. One day soon I will not have hair where I have to shave. Really, it was less painful than in the past and I did ask for an extra stick of numbing cream:)

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!

Almost packed, leaving Tuesday at 4:45 A.M.

Where: I DON'T KNOW????

Why: Because my husband is surprising me! 14 days! May 4th- May 18th.

Now that I have all my work files ready for another agent and informed all the other agents, Escrow officers, Loan girl, broker, and clients with what to do and who to call, I feel much better! Phew but being a Realtor your work is NEVER done. Period! Anyways, Grandma will be here and Frank and I will be somewhere FAR AWAY! I LOVE my children and will miss them! I will post pictures when I return.

New Brushes this week- Ooh, they r Cute too!

New Class: Temple Tuesday. Since Andrew broke his Clavical Bone

he can't play his guitar. So, we go to the Temple in replace of his lesson.

We seem to like this routine so far. Peace can be found there.

Hailey came too:) They brought their BOM and Journals.

Earth Day- Good movie, we all enjoyed it. Still playing in Theaters.

McKee Ranch this week. Lots of feeding fun!

I LOVE PIGS! But I was scared to hand it to him- Porker Q-T Pie!

Yes, Jen was scared too!

Blue Man Group

They think we are going shopping and sight seeing. (At Palazzo) Better parking:)

They have NO Idea Yet that they are really about to see the show.

Just think I am taking a picture.

So, I tell them let me ask them a question, as I get inline for ticket pick-up. I give the lady my I.D

and she says, do u have your credit card u paid with? I give it to her and she hands me the tickets. The kids r like, Mom, What r u doing? And I was like surprise:) Aubrey really wanted to go shopping but was happy, Alaina was thrilled and Andrew was happy too!

I have been 4 times now and admit the front row was the best.

I've been in second row but Yes, front row is the BEST!

I love this part of the show and see why front row rocks!

Also, Blue Man came up to us and climbed on our chairs and gave us the "Eye" That look throughout the show.

Alaina and Andrew can't wait to go back. We had a great time while Frank was in New Orleans eating up all that yummy FOOD that I LOVE SO MUCH!

Went to Hurricane for 1-2 days. Went to Zion and visited Aunts,

Vacation: Soon.... For 14 days! Shhh! It's a Surprise! I don't know where Frank is taking me.

But I do know we are taking the kids to New Orleans around Halloween time. I am So Excited because there is a lot of History there. I've been there a number of times and yes, Frank did ask me to marry him there too! However, The best pie is there and the yummiest food Ever. :)

Also, I am starting to plan field trips for next year~ Please share any ideas.

I make the best of it, I really feel blessed to be where I am today.

Of course there are a handful of things I would change but in the meantime I focus on the good things:) Happy Day Every-Buddy!

I find this to be very interesting.

I was reading in my book a few weeks ago about

how public school came to be.

From my book: Historically the primary goal of public schools,

the reason they were instituted, was to educate the poor so they could get a job

and take their place in society.

The middle class already had private schools and apprenticeships, and the wealthy

were tutored at home.

Very interesting to me. I love learning and re-learning.

It is all so awe-ha and gives me the desire to do better when I know better!

Last Week

My 30 hours of CE classes are done:)

My Realtor License expires in 2 months.

Better to get the classes done now vs last minute.

Highlights of last week: Frank was really good to us. He just helped and made the

week better than I'd imagine. I was basically gone the entire week. School plus work but

I am happy with both. My kids are doing well. We went shopping and to lunch on Saturday.

We starting summer shopping and then it rained:)

I lost my voice, not from yelling! Just tired and didn't have time to be sick.

I couldn't help but think of all the mommies who have to work outside their homes.

You don't have a choice if your sick, you just gotta get up and go. Times are tough these days

and my heart is with you. My heart is with all the single Mommies too! Being a former single Mom with 3 little kids(THEN) makes me realize that life can be tough single or not but far more tougher being a single working Mom. In my opinion, anyways.

I am thankful to have a nice husband and children+dog. I wish I didn't take on so much though!!! Gotta work on that one:) I told Frank today, I can't wait to be old. Ya, think about it, all the hard work we do now should put us in a good position when we are old. If not we are doing something wrong. I didn't say I can't wait to look old, I said be old. As in RETIRE:)

One day, One day:) That's the plan anyways. Be kind to everyone. You don't know what battle they are really fighting. Trust me it's so true! Smiles go a long way!!!

Fun Lil trips

We loved the Titanic Exhibit.

We watched the movie tonight. Aubrey owns it and LOVES The Titanic.

She was like a sponge in the exhibit. Soaking it all in:)

I've come to realize that we have way to much fun!

However, We learn while we are having fun. (K-12 Field Trip)

The kids learned about Australia and how

they run the place etc.

Andrew helped Natasha with her tree. She

lives next door to us. Andrew said if she ever moves,

Matthew has a summer house on our street. He lives in New York

and Andrew and him became great friends instantly. The schools are much better there

and so there is no chance they will move here:( Bummer!!!!!!!! We really like their family too!

Frank had to go to Mississippi for work but

will be home soon:) I had a lot of work(Realtor) stuff and so

it's actually nice when he is gone. I actually

We went on a date with our friends Brad and Heather last week.

Frank and I had our Valentine's date

on Friday. The day was really peaceful

Alaina made a medieval times castle

at her Friday group. (Sharewest) They read the Whipping

Boy this month. Then the group made flags and these cakes.

They also talked about the book etc. I love fun things along with

learning.

My first cooking class group was this past

week. We made kid Sushi and a Volcano cake.

They loved it! Can u tell?

was cool in person.

I loved seeing how much fun they all had

together. I can't wait for my turn to do the group again.

We also watched a short kid DVD on Volcanos.

President's Day:

Today, I told my Family to pick a President. On Monday,

we each will share fun facts about the president we picked. Might I say that I am so excited!

I LOVE to learn. Any who, I picked Thomas Jefferson.

I can't share anymore with you until I share it with them. However, you should do this with your family.

I am going to include a Quote from my President along with a nickel and a $2 dollar bill. I find these kind of things fun because learning SUCKS if it's dry and boring. Trust me we have way to much fun. Now go make it a FUN day every-buddy:)

Surgery

Frank asked me to marry him in New Orleans. Been there many times

and Happy they won. Frank is having surgery in the morning.

He popped his arm out of the socket last year. Finally it will be fixed!!!!

It is out patient and 6 week recovery time.

We did go see Annie this week.

It was fun and it was our first time going to that theater.

We also liked the Summerlin Library. I LOVE Libraries these days.

Aubrey is in YGAP. It's a homeschool group

for 12 and older. They decorated some of the doors at a nursing home.

We are lucky she got into YGAP. They are very cool people. The younger two

are in Sharewest, another homeschool group for the younger ones. Awesome people and fun stuff. We do that group on Fridays. I also have a small group that meets on Thursdays. We all live close by. I am excited because this Thursday is my turn. I will post pictures next week of our fun.

In a nutshell, I have been more busier, than ever in my life.

These are the snack for the girl on the go. They even boost your mood.

Alaina's class had a field Trip to The Bodies Exhibit.

Wow! It was so aha, aha wow! I give it a 10+ which is better than 2 thumbs up.

Frank had a birthday this week:) We haven't seen much of him

because he has been working long hours. He went out of town for 1 day for work and when he came home he told me he felt like he hadn't slept in a month. He hugged me, that's me under him in the picture and then hugged me again and then he passed out on top of me! I was like oh NO! I am tired and I can't sleep like this and I can't dare wake him up considering he needs to sleep. I read a magazine and after an hour or so he got up and moved on his own. It was kinda funny to me:) That is why I took a picture with my phone:)

My weeks go by so FAST! I am excited to try MAth U SEE.

It just came in the mail. I also want to get The Book Of Mormon for Families. Does anyone use it?

Italy

We always play games at the dinner table. Someone will ask a question and we go around and everyone answers what they think that persons answer would be.

Like What is Andrew's favorite car? We all give our answer and then he gives the correct answer ETC. They all like these kinds of games. So do I, one way to get know each other and keep up with the current.

We all agree that we would want to live in ITALY.

I just don't know how we would get our dog over there.

She is old and grouchy! But We LOVE her so much. Uh- She keeps us here:)

As for me, I started running. I HATE it, but it's really good for me.

For this sole reason, I just keep on running. I try to run 3 X's a week, 6 miles each time

in about an hours time. I usually cry, yes, I cry while out running. But this last week I did cry before I left for my run and NOT one tear while on my run. HUH:) YEAh!

This generation is the click of a botton.

Everything is only a click away.

Last week Aubrey helped Andrew learn how to tie a Tie.

Yes, with a click of a button, U-Tube:)

Aubrey is almost 15. She is a fun girl and I just love her.

She is doing so good with her school work. She wants to be a lawyer.

I am very proud. She has been working really hard. She knows what's up:)

We found these items in China Town.

Andrew and Alaina were in a Geography Bee.

It was a good experience for them. They didn't win but did very well.

I could not answer most of the questions myself:(

we are doing this year, has given us so many opportunities.

I am forever grateful for following my heart.

FYI: That Map cost about 17,000 dollars.

She is funny and I am proud of her desire to work.

As a parent/Mother I use to feel like I am not doing enough.

Well, I am now. It's all coming together and HARD WORK really does pay off!!!!!

And being a Mom is a HARD JOB! My oldest son Anthony would of been 18 this year.

I know 18, WOW! So, I have been doing this a long time and I am constantly learning new things EVERYDAY! I love it, it's great to keep on keeping on.

I enjoy reflecting back on 2009. My family has made some big changes and I am happy to say, I'M Loving it! I love that my husband works hard for his Family, I REALLY love Homeschooling my children. Really, I counted down the days until they were all in school. Couldn't wait to have my entire days all to myself! Huh- those days are long gone and I wouldn't have it any other way. I would of never thought I'd be one of "those people". We love the field trips, we love the freedom to travel, and we love the fun.

I simply do not check blogs but once in a blue moon.

I do post on Facebook often. It way to simple and fast VS Blogging.

We are well and still doing K-12. I like it but I think I would like to pull from different programs.

Checking out all my options but I feel my children are much kinder children and I am VERY Happy with everything this far. We took a trip to California last week. it is faster and so that is where I have been!

Summer is almost over!

I am very excited for school to start. We are doing K-12 and we have so much STUFF! I am amazed at how much cool stuff they give you. I have lots a fun field trips and classes and trips planned! I really am excited:) Can you tell? I have been reading the B.O.M and so have my children. We are trying to do it in 3 months!

I have no complaints and life is where I want it to be.

Hands down Vegas does have some of the best places to eat and

Really amazing places to stay!

However, I know there is more out there! I have lived here 14 years almost and been a lot of places but never here! I just googled fun stuff for kids in Vegas. Then googled and googled! I was gonna find something new for us and I did!

The kids and I actually really had a good time. It is a nice drive and really pretty. Alaina loved the baby ducks which are in the pond towards the back side. Walk around it and they are kinda hiding back there. Cute:)

Jack! Isn't he cute! This is Spring Mountain Ranch Nevada State Park. It is only 5 bucks per car and they do have Bbq's, Pic Nic tables and a grass area. They also have a theater and do plays there. I am really thinking that I am going to be doing K-12 this school year. Mrs. Taggart our principle from private school is now the principle at K-12. It is a public charter virtual school online.
I have searched it out and spoke to many about it and my HEART tells me this is what we need this year! It wont be easy but it will be worth it! I love my children and will be making a GREAT sacrifice in order to do this!

For anyone who is doing or going to be doing K-12 let me know! My friend Kaylene(Our Music teacher from our private school has a well planned out group for the fun Xtra stuff. The group will meet once a week and 2 moms are in charge of each month. I am EXCITED about that part:) Kaylene is doing K-12 and so is Alaina's teacher's son from our private school and the priciple's son.

Many of my friends are turning to K-12 because the program is really awesome! If I am willing to give of my all day freedom to try it, I must feel strong about it! I am hoping it will be good all around! Hugs April

Miss Alaina has been a real sweetie the last few weeks!
She sticks up for other kids her age,if others are not being kind to them.
She has shared a few stories that made me so happy she is being Christlike:) She just got her very own Curling Iron. She wanted this small one and she kept saying how do u spell it? Because she wanted to buy it online. I told her we can just go to the store. I realize her GENERATION is all about the computers! CLICK and buy DONE! I get it:) We just love her!

Andrew just loves baseball. He really likes or I should say Loves the Game!
Andrew works hard and can and does do whatever he sets his mind to. He always tells me he loves me. 100 times a day! ALOT:) So funny last week he was leaving for school and out of habit he said,"Good night Mom Love ya" and he realized what he said. It was funny! He is also growing and almost taller than me. Not hard to do I know! He always wants to pay for whatever I buy him. I always tell him stop it! He is a kind hearted and loving guy:) We just love him!

The dressing I use for my version of Cafe Rio dressing calls for Butter Milk. So, I was thinking what can I use this left over Butter Milk for?? And then a thought came... Buttermilk pancakes! Kirsten posted about how good they were. So, after the Dr. appt today I made em!

No need to waste it!

3 cups flour

3 tbl. sugar

3 tsp. baking powder

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

3/4 salt

3 cups Butter Milk

1/2 cup milk

3 eggs

1/3 cup melted butter

Mix and make

The recipe should be cut in half because I had a lot. So, I used Wax paper and put pancakes in between it and bagged em up for the freezer.

2-3 per bag

Then I tossed them in a bigger bag. And into the freezer they went.

Do u want a PERFECT pancake? Wait for the bubbles! When u see lots of bubbles flip it!

Bubbles= Perfect pancakes and use a little oil vs butter!

Fast but very Yummy Pumpkin Pie.

2 small frozen pie crust

2 cups can pumpkin

1 14oz. Can Condensed sweetend milk

2 eggs

1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. Ginger or pumpkin pie

1/2 tsp. Nutmeg

1/2 tsp. salt

Mix

Pour into shells and Bake 15 minutes on 425. Then after 15 minutes lower heat to 350 and bake for 35 minutes.

Perfect every time. All my children Love these!

Aubreana is home sick today! So, she wanted a pumpkin pie Blizzard.

Sauce with a kick

Sauce with a kick to it: I Love it A lot!

2 TbL Spoons of Evoo( Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

1 1/2 pounds of ground sirloin

1 large onion Finely Chopped

1 Red Bell pepper Finely Chopped

3 Garlic Cloves Finely Chopped

1 Chipotle Pepper in adobo, Chopped plus 1 TbL. Spoon Sauce ( In can) In spanish section at the store.

2 TBL. Spoons brown Sugar

2 TBL. Spoons Worcestershire Sauce

1 Cup Tomato Sauce

Salt and pepper to taste if you want!

In large skillet Med-High heat 2 turns of pan of Evoo, about 2 TBL. spoons. Once hot add the ground sirloin and cook about 4-5 minutes, breaking up as it browns.

Add the onion, Red Pepper, Garlic,Chipotle Pepper and sauce. Stirring ever now and then, for 3-4 minutes, until onions and peppers get a little tender.

In small bowl, combine brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and Tomato sauce. Add the sauce to the skillet and season everything with a little salt and pepper. Bring up to a bubble and simmer until nice and thick, about 3-4 minutes.

Cook pasta- You only need about 1/2 -3/4 of bag but I leave 1/2-3/4 plain so 2 of my kids can put cheese on it! Oh, are they missing out!

Side Note: I use a little electric chopper to get a fine chop.

Encore has this awesome remote control. Everything is just a button away. Or a phone call away. Except for a curling Iron-Huh Aubrey:) My kid's love on T.V how they show Steve Wynn sitting on top of Encore. So, they were excited to stay here.

A Family date

We went to Hugo's Cellar this week. Frank did this same thing a few months ago and I never down loaded his cell phone pictures! Here is pictures of this week.

Frank thought this would be fun for the kids! So, this is our 2nd time we have done this.... The kids get a room and a movie while we go have dinner. It works out to be fun for everyone. Oh, and they get food too!

They love it and for this I give Frank all the credit! On the way home we played a fun game. Cash Cab- it is so fun and Frank of course thought of it.

Stuffed Big Shrimp.

It's all really good. Last time we had the Hot Rock- which is also good! We LOVE food if you couldn't tell! Love it! After we went and got the munchkins and home we went! Cash Cab game all the way home! Frank is a fun game player. He also had an auction for them this week. Hammer and all...do I hear 20, 40, 60, 80 a 100 etc. Going once, going twice, sold for $$$ The real deal! Fun times we will remember.

We went Friday after school. However, Aubrey has traded us in! Yep, she is a working girl$$ Loves to babysit:) I knew the reaction I would get from them when they saw this view from our room. So, I had my camera ready to go! So, here they are.....

And then guess what??? That sucked! We were so EXCITED to get in there and splash around.

We settled for this instead! BUMMER!

Well, we did have a T.V. but no pool:(

I was so happy because Andrew really enjoyed our get away! He said, this is what I'm talking about! King of the castle, King of the chair!

He does love pizza!

The BEST part for me was no dishes! We just went down to eat when we wanted! NICE!

I had a baby shower at my house for my friend Bre and baby Benjamin. It was HUGE!!!!! As a matter of fact Bre broke out into a sweat from opening SO MANY presents! No kidding!!!

146 pages of recipes. I only wanted to buy 3 of them. However, the school rule was cash out at $100 and get 0 books or pay 150 and get 10 books. Last Tuesday I flew into the OC. Never have I missed the OC in my life until that day. I got off the plane and a breath of fresh air and I missed where I grew up. Crazy because I have been there a ton of times in the past 13 yrs. since I left there. I actually missed living in Sunny California. I went to my Grandma's funeral.

My Grandma will always be in my heart! She lived a long life and I am thankful she was my Grandma. She lived in Palm Springs and I liked the Tram by her house. When I was a kid we would ride up it. We even ate at the top once. We may of even rode horses up there? One thing I did get from her.... You really want to know..... Ok, she loved football and nobody wanted to be around her when she watched it. Why?? She yelled and even drop some Bad words around:) This is why I seldom watch Football! Ask my kids! The Bears was the last real Super Bowl I watched and they let me down!!! I am not even a BEAR fan! Or a football fan at that! That is how I know I got this from her!!!! Love you Granny:)

We had Thanksgiving here once. On top of the hill is a really nice place to eat at. The funeral was actually by my other Grandma's house. So, some pictures are memories of my other Grandma.

Angie, did you play horse on this rock? Amber did you? I did! It was a wagon and we would pretend there was a horse infront of us! It is right across from Grandma w. house. It had a ledge on it we would sit on. Funny and I snapped this picture.

This is my Aunt Kathy and Uncle John. My Mom's sister and below are their two daughters and some of their children.

My cousin Patty and Jill. Patty to the left has 2 kids and Jill to the right has 3. It was nice to see them. I haven't seen them since my son's funeral. When I was kid we would go to their cabin in Big Bear. Once in the snow we had our Easter Egg hunt. It was fun and the lake behind the cabin or stream we would play in it in the summer. Although The bathroom scared me!!!

This is my Aunt Lynn. She is my Dad's sister! Sweet of her to come support us even though it was not her Mom who passed. I love my Aunt Lynn and she knows I do! Her Mom (My other Grandma who passed years ago is the one I always strive to be like).

My cousin Jenny runs 12 miles twice a week and 7-8 miles three days a week. My Mom told me this on our way home. I am still wondering how she does that?? Jacob her son is so polite and smart. He is 13. Don't let his hair fool you! He is stylish with his dew. She is married and has an 8yr. old son as well.

TO the left is my Aunt Sue and Uncle Jeffrey. The Mom and Dad of Lori, Ricky, Jenny and Jenny. This is my Mom's sister and to the right is Cathy and uncle Kevin. This is my Mom's brother. Him and his girlfriend took care of my Grandma for many, many years!

My cousin Ricky and his girlfriend. Ricky is the brother of Lori and the B. Jenny and L. Jenny. First off he looks really good!!! He was very WILD back in the days! He told my Dad he has been working hard for all the time lost doing??? He looks good to me! You'd be surprised how old he really is!

My cousin Lori's kids! Maryann has 3 kids of her own. She is at the left, then Jerimiah(I spelled that wrong I bet) and then Jessica who hands down is my kids all time FAVORITE!!! There Mom Lori looks way young to have 3 kids and 3 grandkids!

These are my cousin's kids. Alexis 18~ They call her Alli, Lauren 8 and Ryan 5. They are sweet kids! When I showed Alaina this picture she said Mom.... My best friend is my cousin?? She really likes Lauren and at Maryann's sons birthday party she said Lauren is her BF. Funny huh!

My cousin Lori, Me, Jennifer and Jennifer. We say Big Jenny and Little Jenny! They are all sisters. And I am closest to my cousin Lori. We can talk for days on end!

Patricia had a birthday! 25 again!!! And yes, Heather thinks she is a kitty Cat??? Kidding:) Mom &Angie to the left of me is the 1st counselor, next to her is the president(both are Jennifer or Jen) The one on the end left is the birthday girl~ Patricia who is a wonderful primary teacher. And Heather is 2nd counselor in RS.

So we had a nice relaxing Family vacation. We really did! Best part for me was turning off the cell phone!!!!!!!!! We had two rooms 4 bathrooms and 6 T.V's. The bathrooms have T.V's in them. Space always helps when you are traveling:) We played games, played in the snow, went on a drive, Ate lots of food, Went to the movies, swimming, and just relaxed!

Sorry No Picture BUT it is very Yummy!!!!

Cafe Rio Salad Dressing:

1 cup Mayo

1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch mix

1 cup buttermilk

1/3 of a bundle of cilantro stems off

1/2-1 small jalapeno

1 tsp. lime juice

3-4 Tamatillos- remove outer papery skin and cut up. Can find at food for less

1 Garlic glove

Blend all ingredients in food processor or blender

Awesome Bajio Style Chicken:

5 Chicken Breast

1/2 cup Salsa

1 Table Spoon Cumin

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1- 4oz. can Green Chilies

6 oz. Sprite - half a can

Combine all ingredients and put in Crock Pot on Low 5-6 hrs. Last hour remove and shred and put back in for last hour!

Serve with:

Flour Tortillas, Lettuce, Cheese, Black Beans, Avocado and any other fixing you like. I like it as a SALAD! The dressing is for the Salad:) No Picture because I ate it But Heather G. said it was Yummy and so did Jen O. And I liked it as well! Besides that it's easy to make! April

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am very GRATEFUL for my children. I love them very much! I have been a Mom for over 16 years and I feel very lucky and blessed. They bring me so much Joy and Happiness and heartache too! I love them.

My Husband~ Frank is very loving to me and kind. Frank has been Super Dad and really goes the extra mile for his kids. He takes them to cool places and is thoughtful. I have a great post of an example. I will post it soon. The pictures are on his phone and he is sleeping! I always tell Frank he is so lucky to have such a beautiful Wife but actually I know I am the lucky one! I love you Frank and I am thankful for all the time you give to me and the kids and the dog.

After Disneyland and California... Frank and I went to New Orleans. It kinda sucks to unpack and repack because it was like this~ Home Monday night and catching flight next evening. I only complain because I am packing again tonight. We really liked Court Of Two Sisters! They have a great brunch. Emeril's is still my favorite. We went to Emeril's and Nola's. The food is always Yum ,Yum ,Yum In New Orleans.

I wanted to go to the New Orleans Zoo! So, Frank took me! It did rain something AWFUL but we did enjoy the animals. It was fun and I am glad we went.

He liked hooving dirt on his back! It cool them down. I loved the Monkeys and I have the better pics. on Frank's phone of New Orleans. My camera did break and I am holding out for black friday. This is why I haven't blogged much. I am using the kid's camera. And I have facebook now too! It's fast and easy.

Otto and Lisa met us in New Orleans. Frank and Otto have been friends since they were kids. We enjoyed the time we got to spend with them. It was nice!

The love just goes on and on! I do love this pie alot! It melt's me! Ask Frank:) Again, Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night! I love my family and my friends and I am so Thankful on this day for all I have. Love April

Disneyland

We got lucky! My Mom surprised us and took us to California. We went Friday after school. She said clean your rooms and pack your bags. Then she said if she picks us up from school we are going somewhere and if Claire picks us up then we aren't. She picked us up!

14 hours we spent between Disneyland and California Adv. and a few hour break at our room.

Right after we found out we were going to Disneyland. My Mom didn't tell us until like ten at night and we were excited. We saw Kristen and Mark friday night. Sweet deal for my Mom! We love them! And we are going to Walt Disney World with them next year! So is Autumn and her Family.

We visited our brother's grave and our cousin Makenna's grave. We cried:( We miss them and love them.

Here is my house I grew up in. I think why do people pay so MUCH $$$ for these houses??? I could buy 2 of the house I live in now for the one in the picture above. My cousin said people will pay $$$$$ just to live in the OC zipcode. CRAZY to me. I took the kids to many places we love and many places of my past. It was fun times.

We went to Chuck E. Cheese last night with my cousin Lori(above) and her kids and her Grandkids. My camera stopped working so this is the only Picture I got. I really love my cousins. The kids took the party(themselves) to the parking lot when it closed at 10pm and turned on the car radio(LOUD) and were shaking their stuff! It was funny, funny, and fun to laugh at! Jessica can really shake it! Good times we will never forget and now we are at Home Sweet Home! Grandma's coming tomorrow. Which means fun all over again!!!! Grandpa you should come too! So, you would think it all ended beautiful! NO! Poor Aubreana was having this pain and it just got worse. We dropped off Aunt Alli and Aubreana was in really bad pain. So, we went to urgent care. She has some inflamation in her ribs but she will be ok:0) Poor baby! She is now in bed and we love her. It turned into a long night! Andrew has become such a good Baseball player! His first hit of the season he hit a home run! They won their first game tonight! I am like my Grandma( My Mom's Mom) I YELL and stuff! Frank tells me shoosh and he even walks away from me! LOL I Just root them on!!! And I love to WIN!!!

He has become such a good player because his Dad has taken the time to teach him! He also told him good players or good pitchers ? wear their gloves to bed. And this is what I find every night!

Oriental Chicken Wraps

Creamy Sauce: 1 cup Mayo
2 Tbl. Sesame oil
2 Tbl. Lemon Juice
1/3 cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
5 Tbl. Milk
Combine and Mix
Cover and put in Fridge

In big Ziplock bag: Boneless skinless chicken tenders.(As many as your family needs)
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup sprite or 7-up
Marinate over night in Fridge or atleast a few hours.
After Marinating them, Cook them. I just use EVO and cook on stove top.

To make them: Small Flour tortilla's
Mandarin Oranges
Bag of mixed salad greens
Crispy Chow Mien noodles (In a Can)
Sliced green onions
Chicken & Creamy Sauce

Wrap it all up and Enjoy!

Or you can make it a salad!

My Grandma had never seen a baby be born. So, I told my Grandma she could sit in the delivery room and watch Aubreana be born. I was so worried about my Grandma that I would often ask the Dr. How is my Grandma doing? Good thing I was worried about her because I didn't realize I was having a 9 pd. 12 oz. baby. My Grandma is the most Christlike person and I will forever keep trying to be like her.
My Dad and my sisters brought Anthony to see his new baby sister. Little did we know these would be the last pictures we would take of him alive. The green clothes is because it was St. patricks day.
Anthony held his new sister and said she is to big! We took pictures, he went to the potty and made bubbles. 2 1/2 year olds do that! He said look Grandma I made bubbles. So, I could see his eyes were glossy and he looked like he may have a cold coming on. So, I asked my Dad to take him home so Aubreana would not get sick. I also gave my Mom his Ins. card in case he needed to go to his Dr. Then I said my good bye's and they left. My Mom went with them to walk them out. Amber stayed with me and we talked and I ate! Well, we thought my Mom was taking a long time. She was gone forever it seemed like. Then she came in with my Dr. and ?? and was Frantic and she said Anthony and I just knew he got ran over! No, he didn't but something happened to him and they didn't know what. My Mom walked them to the door and said good bye. My Dad was holding him(So sorry Dad) and Anthony threw up and my Dad turned back towards the hospital to ask my Mom what he should do? The nurse told him run to E.R. He rushed him to E.R. It did take them a while to get him breathing again. He was on the machines. My 2 little sisters stayed with the nurse and they sent my Mom down to E.R. before she made it back to my room. I think this is how it went. I wasn't there. So, back to me. They get me in a wheel chair and rush me over there and take me in a small room and say we don't know whats wrong with him but we will do everything we can, Worse case he will have a blood transfussion. So, I go in ICU in his room and see my son with so many tubes everywhere and I say please get me out of here. I get wheeled out and I had to get a hold of myself. It was a bit overwhelming and I was shocked at what I saw! I go back in and I put my finger on his hand and he squezed my finger. I wanted to kiss his face but was scared I would move or bump a wire out! So, I just whispered in his ear I love you big boy! My Mom stayed all night with him and sang The Lion King songs and other songs to him. She said he would wiggle his toes. The next morning I was in the shower and I felt this like beam of light go straight up and out of me. And then banging on the door. Get out of the shower. I get out and the nurses say lets go, we gotta go next door now! I was trying to wipe the blood off my leg cuz I did just have a baby and I just get a robe on I think and I am wheeled over to a small room. Mind you I ask all the way there is Anthony ok and nobody answers me. They take me in and say well we did everything we could and now I'm thinking oh they gotta do the blood transfussion, Nope, they said we did everything we could but his heart kept stopping and he passed away this morning. I was SHOCKED and wanted to RUN FAR AWAY! I went in and said my good byes! And just like that he was GONE! He would of been 16 yrs. old today.

He was such a handsome little guy!

Back to School

Today was the first day back to school. I am not sure how happy I am because they are growing up so fast! And between Frank and I we drive them 30 mins w/out traffic each way! I am very happy and have no complaints with their NEW school! Very Happy!!

Alaina was the most excited! She was so happy to go to her new school.

All ready to go...

Alaina told me she knew she was going to have a good day because she loved her hair! It rained when I went to picked them up so no actual school pics yet! On the way home I asked so how ways it and tell me all about it. So, alaina has 11 kids in her class! She LOVES her Teacher and classmates! Andrew, has found a HOTTIE already! I hurried and said Andrew none of that at this school, you are gonna get sent to the office! He seemed HAPPY anyhow with everything! I told Aubreana so, who was that girl that hugged you? Mom, I don't know her! She just hugged me and random girls would say Hi to me today and ME being ME just got tears in my eyes and I knew my children are at the school they need to be at! Also, it is nice to in a place where people are really just NICE!!! One more thing I was told they are STRICT at this school!!! And last week I was ASKED to be the 3rd grade room Mother. After Alaina told me today just how small the 3rd grade is ,I feel much better about accepting! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU THIS SCHOOL YEAR!!! April

My Sister Allison just found out today some good news! She is coming to Nellis Air Force base! Who would of ever thought I would have family here! Aw, I had huge tears in my eyes as she told me over the phone! This is WONDERFUL to me!!!
Allison is the one all the way to the left side! Here are all my sisters. Allison,Autumn, Amber, Me and Angie. I am lucky to have 4 sisters and no real brothers except Davey.(My Mom's B.F who passed away, her son). We always think of him as our brother! And all my brother-in-laws! More NEWS!! Allison is getting married! Yes, we think they should wait but we want her to be happy! We can't help it because we just LOVE her! So, I will have not one but two family members here! Happy Anniversary

Today is our Wedding Anniversary! Three years today and we have been together five years. Blind dates do work! So, I came home from taking the kids to get their school shirts and this is what I found.. On the table a card and roses. Then I see....

To these Roses and Rose Petals leading me to roses everywhere! My closets, My bathroom, My Office, My desk, My toilet, My bed. It was fun and I truelly felt like I was in Mexico today because they always put petals all over your bed and they were everywhere! I LOVED IT!!!!

I asked Frank, How many Roses did you get? And he said nine! I said 9 that is the most I have ever gotten in one day! I LOVED them!

We went to 9 steak house at Palm's tonight! I also love the food here! I left my camera in the car! No beautiful food pics. The food of course was over the top!

Aubreana left on Tuesday to Girl's Camp for the second time this summer! On Monday we all went to the Palm's for a movie and Lunch at Gardunos! Aubreana comes home in the Morning . We are excited to hear all about it! BAD WEATHER!!! POOR GIRL!!!! I was sad for her and just wanted her home when it was really windy! Thanks to all the leaders and helpers who went! You are doing more than you may realize and just know you will be BLESSED for your time spent away from your family!

They of course LOVE the POOL! Andrew started Baseball this week and is way thrilled! Alaina is signing up for Soccer in the morning:)

I had to do something funny! So, the kids and I made these signs to hold up and I laughed inside over and over again! We picked Frank up Sunday night at the Airport! It was funny! That is a joke between the kids and Frank...The sign Andrew is holding up.

His eye's just caught it oooooo those are my kids with those signs!

It took me to long to take the picture but Frank was laughing! He went to Chicago to the biggest Baseball events of the year. He also went to a Cubs game at Wrigley Fields. He had a great time. I love the memory we made with these silly signs! It was fun and hmmm I wonder what we will do next time??? Any ideas??? April

No, This is not a trick Question!!! What your kids really want for dinner is ___!

Ladies, I grilled these on the B.b.Q and it was fast and good! Yeck, you can grill anything! It was my first time lighting it and I didn't blow it up! Don't be scared it is easy stuff!

My new Favorite Bagel Sandwich! No, most kids won't eat this but wait there is more! Here is what you need Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Avocado, Alfalfa Sprouts, Muenster Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, and Bagels! And the secret spread is... oops after the next Picture!

For the kids Pizza Bagel. Simple ~Bagel, pepperoni, string cheese and Pizza sauce. If this doesn't work for your kids just get whatever deli meat they like!

The next day I made me a snack with leftover stuff! That is Cucumbers on the bottom.

Here is the secret spread! Even if you don't like green onions trust me it's good! Just get some cream cheese and cut up some green onions and mash with a fork until spreadable. Then spread on Bagel and layer all the other stuff on to make your sandwich.

The picture sucks! But the food doesn't! Give it a try! So, What do your kids really want for dinner?? YOU!!! They want you! So, whatever you do keep in mind they really want you! Family dinner is important!!! I will post more food recipes often because it gets tough trying to please evreyone with food! Sometimes or atleast for me!

Our Trip

We went to visit Our Aunt Angie, Uncle John and our cousin's Kylie and Matthew. We love Jet Blue! We had our own T.V. and great snacks!
Here we are at the Gardens. We went to many places and had so much fun!
Thanksgiving point was fun!
Andrew, enjoyed the horse rides and all the kids loved all the Animals. I laugh at this goofy face! Silly Andrew!
If food is really good well then, it gets a picture! This is a Greek Wrap.

This place was great fun! We had hours of fun here. Bumper Boats, Cars, Golf, Laser Tag, Games, Slik Track and other stuff!
Can you see how wet we got! My sister Angie loved them. So, I think she did because she got the most wet everytime!
Golfing was to long so we just did the fun ones and Andrew did get a hole in one at the end.
Here is Kylie, Angie and Mattew on the Merry~Go~Round at the Zoo. I admit I was the one who really wanted to go to the Zoo. Glad we did cuz we saw more than we bargained for...Yes, we did! Very fun guys!

Sassy! They are so cute together and we all get along so well!

This is the largest Dinosaur Museum in the U.S. and it is Matthew and Kylie's favorite place to go.

My kids have been talking about the Maze place since the last time we went here. You just pick a path and follow it until you go the right way to get out! They still liked it.

They also have Noah's Ark Boat and Water fun there too! Kylie looks just like you Angie but you think Lulu should be yours??? They both are Cute and Sassy!!!

Before we caught our flight home we stopped at A Little Taste of Europe. Andrew picked an Ice cream Crepe. It way deserved a picture for it's looks alone! I had a Greek one and you can pick anything you want in it! Of course they make them in front of you!
Good pick! Here is Uncle John & Aunt Angie (My sister and Brother in law) My kids and I thank-you for all the fun and good times we had! We miss you all! I really Thank-you and hope you know we really love you guys alot!

Andrew and I had a Mother~Son~Date today!

He tells me Mom, I have a game we can play. Frank always plays this game with us while waiting for our food to come. He so cute!

Andrew loves pizza!!! So, he had pizza and I had Duck Tacos.

Schools out for the Summer!

I won't be seeing Frank for 9 yes, that is nine DAYS!!! This yields for high ANXIETY for me! He is gone right now and then 1 hr after we fly out he comes home. Then he is moving all of our stuff to our new home. I am packing right now and he already packed ALOT! So, after we come home 3 days later he leaves again! We didn't plan to be moving so soon! Life happens and you just gotta roll with it! I love you Frank! Cupcake

Aubreana's first Massage

My Sad OOgly story!

Our trip went well until....... Our return flight!

Here is my OOgly(ugly) story! Why the tears? We were ready to board our flight when I wrote Frank a note. It said, Frank, Did you clean out the safe? He looked at me and said, No! I said, your kidding right. He said, Nope! We were far from the Hotel and Frank ended up having to fly out the next day. We had returned the car and checked in our bags and ready to bored the plane. We were lined up ready to go. We had to do what we had to do but it sucked!

Yes, I realize this is Oogly but I am just keeping it real! We had put our valueables in the Hotel room safe and we just forgot to clean it out! It all happened so fast. He went one way and I went the other except I was crying and crying. It gets even better!

I am flying and crying and have the row to myself. I wanted to be with him but knew I needed to be home. I spiritually grew on that flight. Really, God know's I did:)
I really believe prayers are answered in many ways. Sometimes in ways that have nothing to do with what we actually prayed for. It get's worse....I Get home and end up at Quick Care with Alaina until 2:30 A.M. She had to go because she had a hard long bump inside and swelling above and below her Jaw line. It was like a weird thing you don't see. I have never seen. It just came on w/ a fever. She was in pain, scared and tired.

On a HAPPY NOTE: When I came home from church Frank was home! My "News" I have a new calling at church...Primary Secretary. Happy Father's Day Dad, I love you very much. Happy Father's Day Frank, We are so lucky to have you and Happy Father's Day to my brother in laws! Happy Father's Day... Hope we all go the xtra mile today for those Daddy's in our lives. I took the 30 week challenge to Make Space For God's Love in your Life. I started out feeling like I was a loser! Over the week I realized it is the small and simple things. It is the way I think and act and do. I have felt his LOVE and it feels pretty good. I will keep on doing this. Read the book.

Aubreana is now an 8th grader! She is a little bummed because she will be attending private school next year! We love her and want the best for her! Andrew and Alaina will also be going to private school. Andrew is so excited! Aubreana is a busy girl! We will post more of her later:)

I took time to let Alaina make home made bread. She loved her new apron and had fun.

This week Frank did Scouts at our home. The Bear leader moved. I enjoyed watching. :)

They played a Baseball card throw game. Who can get it closest to the wall wins all the cards.

They had to even measure a few times! Boys and their games huh!

Frank's Dad came for 15 days. He is from Ohio and he stayed with Frank's brother. We had alot of fun visiting him. This was the first time the kids met him. Really we enjoyed the time together.

Austin, Andrew & Grandpa went to the Father Son Campout in Hurricane. What was the best part for the boys? My Dad said they loved the "Fire". Hey Dad Frank said they loved the Fire last year too! They had fun! Thanks for taking them! We love you very much!

Here is baby Harper! Autumn had Harper 2 weeks ago and I was so excited to finally see her! I love her so much! I was able to hold her for many hours until Autumn took her from me.

Of course Jayden & Alaina went for a ride on the 3-wheelers! Always fun at Grandma & Grandpa's. Lucky us!

We told Andrew it was to hot for all this but he had fun w/it! So what do u do?
